  also Millicent. Smyth in his Lives of the Berkeleys, says that Maurice, lord Berkeley had only one daughter, Isabel who m. Robert de Clifford.; Thus he denies that Maltravers wife was dau of Lord Berkeley.; Indeed there is no mention of any such Eve or Millicent in the whole of Smyth's Volume I. Nevertheless I have included her in the Berkeley files as everyone else believes her to have been a daughter of Maurice, lord Berkeley. But on p. 251 of Vol 1, Smyth reports a charter of 13 Ed III; to John Mautravers the nephew of Maurice Berkeley, who was the second son of Maurice, lord Berkeley.
